Man, 20, arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after woman, 18, seriously injured in crash on A1175 at Cowbit

A 20-year-old man has been arrested following a serious crash yesterday (Saturday, December 23).

The man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

An 18-year-old girl suffered serious injuries in the single vehicle crash that took place at around 6.45am in Barrier Bank, off the A1175 Cowbit.

Lincolnshire Police are now appealing for witnesses following the collision that resulted in a road closure for the majority of the day.
