A16 shut at Crowland after crash

A section of the A16 is shut this afternoon (Sunday) after a crash.

The road is closed around Crowland, between the junctions with the B1040 and the B1166 Hull’s Drove.

The full circumstances of the incident, which happened around lunchtime, are not yet known.

Emergency services are said to be on the scene. An air ambulance landed in the area at about 1.20pm and made a trip to Peterborough City Hospital at 1.50pm.
