A17 closed at Fleet Hargate after suspected crash

Motorists are reporting delays on the A17 this afternoon after a suspected crash.
The incident is thought to have happened between Lodge Farm Cafe and the Anglia Motel within the last half an hour or so.
Traffic heading west from Long Sutton is being diverted through Fleet Hargate, with the road currently blocked off.
The AA is reporting severe delays in both directions on the A17 as a result and drivers are advised to avoid the area if they can.
The circumstances of the collision are not yet known but the police and fire service have been spotted at the scene.
