They’ve been helping customers celebrate in style for 40 years and now the team at Cindy’s Fashions are looking ahead to an exciting wedding season in 2020.

Cindy Marritt, who own’s the fashion store in Bridge Road, Sutton Bridge, loves working with clients to help them create the perfect look for their special occasion and says this year’s collections include some beautiful and diverse options as well as more traditional pieces.

“The looks we’re seeing for weddings this season are quite diverse – with couples now opting for many different venues, outfits are changing and in many cases things are less formal,” she explained.

“Not everyone wants a more traditional tailored dress and jacket, instead the pieces we are seeing are much more fluid.

“There’s a lot of florals; a lot of young girls like an afternoon tea and want that type of theme carried through their celebration, so there’s more of a vintage look.”

Cindy’s Fashions stocks a wide range of designers including Veni Infantino, Condici and Lizabella, in sizes from 10 to 26, with options to suit every budget.

As well as more relaxed and flattering styling with beautiful detailing, Cindy says tops and dresses with short sleeves will be popular too, while this year’s collections come in a vast array of colours.

Trousers will be another popular choice – especially when teamed with a beautiful, elegant top – making them a timeless addition to any wardrobe as they can be worn again and again.

As well as offering expert advice on what to wear for your special occasion, Cindy’s staff can also help with your outfit’s finishing touches by advising on accessories including millinery, bags, jewellery and scarves.

“We have a very experienced team here – the girls are here to help and show people how to wear items that perhaps sometimes they wouldn’t consider,” adds Cindy.

“We aim to give a one to one personal service and help people choose accessories to complement their outfit too; we’ve got something to suit every taste and every budget to help customers celebrate in style.”
