Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance called into action in Gedney Hill
An ambucopter was called into action to assist a patient on Saturday morning.
The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance was dispatched to Gedney Hill — and landed north of the village, near to the golf club, at about 11am.
It is believed that the matter was a medical emergency and is not being investigated by the police.
A spokesman for the air ambulance said: “The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance crew responded to a call in the Spalding area at around 10.40am and landed close to the scene at 11am. One patient was treated on scene.”
No further details have been released regarding the condition of the patient.
