Spalding estate agents relaunches, re-brands and moves office

Spalding estate agents Sedge have relaunched, re-branded and moved office.

The business, 25 years old this year, has left its Double Street base and re-opened at 17 Winsover Road on Wednesday.

There is also a new colour scheme and logo, which is already on the company's cars.

The Sedge team of Scott, Dorota, Amy and Monika have all been working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready in time for the launch and are looking forward to welcoming clients into their new office with its modern feel.

Sedge is open seven days-a-week (Monday to Friday 8.30am-6pm, Saturday 9am-3pm, Sunday 10-12noon).

They are also now live and active on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @SedgeSpalding) and clients will be able to view a full list of services online at www.sedge-homes.co.uk where even their website is having an overhaul.

To mark the relaunch, Sedge have some special offers. There is a 20 per cent reduction in their selling fee for any new sign-up throughout September; landlords who sign up for a year (on new instructions) will get three months' fully-managed service for free; and there are no tenant fees.

Director Peter Coupland said: "We are keeping the same name, but with a new team now in place, we deemed it fit to mark the occasion with a fresh new re-brand.

"We have also taken the bold decision to move our office to a more central, town location at Winsover Road, so clients, old and new, can drop in easily as they go about their business in Spalding."

“With the efficiency of the internet and everyone accessing online services much more readily, there is less need for the larger office space. As with any business, especially in the current climate, the need to streamline is essential.

"Despite this, our business is fully committed and excited about continuing to provide the friendly, professional service we always have to clients, but in ways which will make us more competitive within our industry.

Sedge lettings manager Dorota added: “We have an incredible database of in-house contacts and so can offer our landlords, tenants (vendors and buyers) so much more than just sales and lettings.”

“We frequently get called upon to paint a property throughout upon a tenant change, provide storage for customers moving abroad, undertake a house clearance and have project managed essential refurbishment works in order to get a property sold and across the line... so it is a good job we are open seven-days-a-week!"
