Ambulance service and police respond to medical emergency in Commercial Road, Spalding

A large emergency response in Spalding this morning was prompted by a medical episode.

Drivers passing along Commercial Road at about 8am reported two ambulances, another ambulance service vehicle and a police car outside the EYG Windows site, near the busy junction with Albert Street.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police confirmed that a man had ‘suffered a medical event in the street’.

Its officers were there to support ambulance colleagues in attending to the patient.
