Pinchbeck Road in Spalding re-opens quicker than expected
Anglian Water has apologised for disruption caused by a road closure — but has managed to re-open the route quicker than expected.
Motorists were met with delays after Pinchbeck Road in Spalding was shut yesterday (Tuesday, March 11) to carry out work on a burst water main.
The roadworks were originally set to be completed by next week on Monday, March 17, at the latest – however the route re-opened by this morning (Wednesday, March 12).
A spokesperson for Anglian Water said: “We're sorry for any traffic disruption on Pinchbeck Road in Spalding. We had to close the road in order for our teams to repair a burst water main.
"We'd like to thank our customers for their patience whilst we safely completed this essential work.”
Road closure signs were installed on King’s Road, with diversion routes for motorists.
