Animal cruelty arrest in Spalding

A man in Spalding has been arrested on suspicion of causing suffering to animals.
The 55-year-old male was arrested at a property in Birch Grove this morning.
Police attended the property along with RSPCA officers.
An RSPCA spokesman said: "We attended a property in Spalding today alongside police and seven German Shepherds were removed by police and are now in RSPCA care.
"Our enquiries are now ongoing so we can't give any further information at this time."
