Appeal for witnesses after Pinchbeck crash which left two people in hospital




Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which left two people in hospital.

A woman in her 70s and a man in his 80s are both receiving hospital treatment after a crash on Money Bridge Lane in Pinchbeck yesterday (June 18).

The incident happened shortly after 2.30pm — with the surrounding roads then shut for about six hours while emergency services attended the scene until shortly before 9pm.

The incident involved a grey Volkswagen Touran and red Jaguar XF Sport.

The driver of the Jaguar was said to have sustained minor injuries, while the Touran passengers suffered ‘serious’ injuries.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage that would help our investigation.

“Anyone who can assist is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 252 of June 18.”
