Appeal to give youngsters Easter cheer is launched in Spalding
An appeal to ensure struggling youngsters can still have an Easter to remember has been launched.
Members of the public are being encouraged to donate goodies to those going through a difficult time.
South Holland-based Ella's Project has teamed up with The Rightside Trust to run its Annual Easter appeal, which launched on Monday (March 17) and runs until April 14.
Spalding’s NatWest branch will be accepting easter eggs, chocolates and cash, with the gifts then passed on.
“Everything donated will be delivered to the areas children's services so that families in crisis and children in need will not miss out over the Easter period,” said Mark Le Sage of Ella’s Project.
“We are always very grateful to the community who have supported our appeal in the past.”
