Plans lodged to create holiday homes at Algarkirk workshop and offices
Plans to create holiday homes at a village location have been put forward.
Applicant Tim Woodcock hopes to convert a workshop and offices, pictured above, into two holiday cottages accompanied by four static caravans at The Chestnuts, Algarkirk.
The planning proposal, made to Boston Borough Council, comes in two parts.
The first is to convert an existing brick building currently used as a workshop, office and staff room by Barn Dried Logs, into two cottages.
“Each cottage will have two bedrooms, a bathroom and an open plan kitchen, dining and living room,” the supporting statement explains.
“The external dimensions of the building will not be altered but there will be changes to the existing window and door openings. The building will be clad in timber.”
The second part of the proposal is to place four static caravans within the eastern copse, currently used for the storage of logs.
The caravans will be 40x14ft and spaced at least 10-12m apart.
