Arrest warrant for man who failed to attend court for sentencing after admitting theft, burglary and assault charges in Spalding




A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man who failed to attend court following counts of theft and assault.

Ceri Marks was due to appear before Boston Magistrates for sentencing this morning (February 26) following a series of incidents which took place on December 23 in Spalding.

The 53-year-old had previously pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing a glass hammer and two torches from a motor vehicle on Hawthorn Bank.

He had also admitted committing burglary at a garage on Belvedere Close, where he took a circular saw and frozen food items, plus a charge of assault by beating along St Andrew’s Road.

When Marks failed to appear in court, magistrates ordered his warrant without bail.
