Arrest warrant issued for Holbeach woman accused of ‘responsibility for child’ offence

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Holbeach woman accused of an offence connected with responsibility for a child.

Tracy Wells (22) is charged with causing or procuring a child to be assaulted, ill treated, neglected, abandoned or exposed in a manner likely to cause him unnecessary suffering or injury to health.

The offence is alleged to have occurred between May 24, 2021 and May 6, 2022.

Wells, of St Matthews Close, failed to appear before Boston Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday, as scheduled.

The arrest warrant is not backed with bail.
