Resident defends Ashwood Homes over its Low, Road, Holbeach development

I have just read your article regarding Ashwood Homes and the new development in Low Lane in Holbeach.

I have recently moved to Low Lane and am now living in one of the new houses there.

Upon moving here it was apparent that the road was previously a narrow lane, however there is work in progress to improve the quality of the road and its width.

As for the comments relating to the workers on the site, I have only ever found them to be polite and pleasant in their approach to the residents and all are suitably attired in high visibility jerkins and hard hats – this also includes the sales staff and people they escort into the various properties to view.

The road can get dirty but is regularly cleaned and with the dry weather we have experienced of late there is a lot of dust but both are in my mind the hazards of living in a rural community

The area your article describes is positively alien to me as a new resident of the road, and with the anonymity of the informant I can only assume this is a person who seems to have a very different outlook and approach on the building site and the people working within.
