Spalding U3A looking for new members

Spalding and District’s University of the 3rd Age are hoping to attract new members.

The group was one of a number to have a stand at Pinchbeck’s Picnic in the Park recently.

Spokesman Steve Field said: “It was the ideal opportunity to promote our U3A and to attract new members.

“Throughout lockdown, by making using of Zoom, we have continued to hold our monthly meetings with guest speakers, and where feasible, many of the groups have embraced this technology to conduct their meetings, or to just get together for a ‘catch up’.”
