Spalding police sergeant receives award for 20 years of service
A police officer who has given two decades of service to Lincolnshire has been honoured with an award.
Sgt Rick Mosley has been presented with a long service award to mark his 20 years with the force.
Canadian-born Sgt Mosley has held numerous roles across the county, including in Lincoln, but is now the Neighbourhood Sergeant in Spalding.

He said "I love my job. It is not for everyone but I enjoy the variety.
"I have had a variety of different roles but I am back doing what I really enjoy most and that is being in neighbourhood policing, which is more about problem solving than response policing where you go from job to job and don't get to the bottom of things."
Sgt Mosley was inspired to become a police officer at an early age, after a police car visited the farm where he grew up.
He said: "They let me sit in the car and turn on the lights, and ever since then I wanted to be in the police."
After six years in the RAF, Sgt Mosley finally signed up to Lincolnshire police on December 19, 1999.
Initially, he worked in the response unit before moving into neighbourhood policing around Lincoln University.
Along with a stint in CID and at Stamford, Sgt Mosley passed his sergeant's exams in 2013.
In 2017, he moved into working as a custody sergeant in Grantham.
During this time, he helped to bring Project NOVA, which supports veterans who have been arrested and are in police custody, to Lincolnshire. He said: "It was very interesting as everything that goes on is your responsibility, whether it is looking after the prisoners, dealing with solicitors and medics."
Sgt Mosley came to Spalding in December 2018 and has worked closely with the NFU and schools.
