Spalding to lose one of its B&M stores
Spalding will lose one of its two B&M stores, with the Winsover Road shop set to close on May 29.
The store was the first B&M outlet to open in the town - filling the former Co-op premises. The budget retailer then took on the former Homebase in Westlode Street in 2018.
A B&M spokesman said that all staff in Winsover Road would be moving to other stores in the area.
The news comes after M&S recently closed its Simply Food store in Winfrey Avenue Retail Park - although owners say that 'several' retailers have expressed an interest in taking this on.
