Baytree Garden Centre has branched out for the first time, over the Norfolk border.
After 50 years of growing and selling in south Lincolnshire, Baytree has acquired Dents Farm Shop, Garden Centre and Restaurant in Hilgay, on the A10 between King's Lynn and Ely.
Baytree's intention is to expand the garden centre and bring 50 years’ worth of knowledge and experience to the gardeners of west Norfolk.
Since the purchase, the farm shop has been spruced up and the garden centre filled with everything you could need. The Barn Restaurant remains very much as it has been for the last five years, serving locally-sourced food under oak beams.
Baytree marketing manager Mark Elliott said: "Baytree is very much a family-run business and we feel it shows in everything we do. We care passionately about our customers and want them to enjoy gardening just as much as we do.
"Regulars to Dents are reassured that all the friendly staff they know and love are still there, plus a few new faces from Spalding and beyond. We’ve already levelled and re-surfaced the car park, the restaurant patio is getting bigger by the day and very soon the first stage of the garden centre expansion will begin.
