Cowbit bingo organiser presents cheques to three good causes

Three charities were each presented with £100 donations thanks to the efforts of a dedicated fundraiser.

Wyn James has been organising monthly bingos in Cowbit Village Hall for more than 17 years.

She has now decided to call it a day and has presented cheques to the Breath Easy Group, Tulip Ward at Johnson Hospital and Guide Dogs.

The charities had been chosen by the people who attend the bingos.

She said: "I like to help other people who are less fortunate than myself.

"Over the years we have supported the air ambulance, LIVES and cancer charities."
