Officers on scene in Bourne as body is found




A body found by a member of the public is being investigated by police.

The discovery in Dyke Road, Bourne at 9.10pm yesterday (Sunday, July 10) is being treated as an unexplained death and police say they are "keeping an open mind".

They are not yet able to release the identity of the person who has died.

Officers remain at the scene today (Monday) while investigations are carried out.

A police spokesman said: "We ask people not to speculate about the incident while we carry out our investigation."
