Images revealed of new Pinchbeck development
A developer has revealed images of a new development for Pinchbeck.
Bellway received planning permission to build 96 homes on the former Redmile Nursery site, which is off Wardentree Lane, last month.
The development, which will be known as Pinchbeck Fields, will comprise 72 three and four-bedroom houses for private sale, as well as 24 one, two, three and four-bedroom properties provided as affordable housing for local people through rent and shared ownership.
As part of the permission, the developer will pay £190,971 towards primary education and more than £40,000 towards local healthcare services along with providing public open space and a play area.
Phil Standen, Managing Director of Bellway Eastern Counties, said: “Now that planning approval has been secured for Pinchbeck Fields, we look forward to starting construction work on site to deliver these much-needed new homes for the area.
“Our plans will transform what was previously a disused former nurseries site into an attractive new residential community.
“The development has been carefully designed to form a sensitive addition to the village as well as contributing to the supply of housing required in the area.
“The site is in a peaceful village location which is just a mile and a half from Spalding town centre, while local amenities, such as schools, Morrisons supermarket and the hospital are all within walking distance. We’re therefore expecting a great deal of interest here.
“The new homes will be from Bellway’s flagship Artisan Collection, which has been designed on the back of decades of customer feedback and combines traditional craftsmanship with modern construction techniques. Our customers also love the peace of mind which comes from buying a home from a five-star housebuilder.”
Concern has been raised locally about the number of housing developments which are being constructed in the Pinchbeck area.
