An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “We’re sorry that some customers in Pinchbeck might be experiencing low water pressures today. This is due to a burst water main on Northgate, which our teams are working hard to fix, and customers should see pressures return to normal levels shortly.

“In order to keep our engineers and other road users safe while we work, we have closed Crossgate Lane. A fully signposted diversion will be in place later today, and we expect to reopen the road by the end of the week. We’d like to thank everyone in Pinchbeck for bearing with us while we get things back to normal.”
