Student bus crashes into Moulton Seas End dyke
A bus carrying secondary school students came off the road at Moulton Seas End on Friday afternoon.
Two children and the driver received minor injuries after the incident at 4.17pm, when the bus ended up on its side in a dyke in Seas End Road. There is no suggestion the driver was at fault.
Village residents rushed to the scene and two men entered the bus and helped get the children out.
Firefighters from Spalding and Holbeach assisted with casualty care for two students and the driver until the arrival of the East Midlands Ambulance Service.
The ambulance service confirmed that no casualties required hospital treatment.
The bus, from Cropley’s Coaches of Fosdyke, was carrying students home from Spalding Grammar School, Spalding High School and Spalding Academy.
The incident happened almost three years to the day that another coach carrying students left the road and ended up in a dyke in the village.
