Partners and staff from accountancy firm, Moore Thompson, are preparing to fly out to the USA to cheer on reigning British and Commonwealth Light Heavyweight Champion, Callum Johnson.

The local fighter, who recently held a press conference ahead of his fight on October 6, has been supported by Moore Thompson for several years since he turned professional.

His latest match against reigning world champion, Artur Bebertiev, for the IBF World Light Heavyweight Championship, will take place at the 12,000 seater Wintrust Arena in Chicago.

In order to cheer on Callum in person, several partners and contacts of Moore Thompson will fly out to the US so they can sit ringside throughout the fight.

They are joining dozens of locals and business owners from Lincolnshire who have supported Callum as he has risen through the ranks.

Mark Hildred, managing partner at Moore Thompson, said: “We are all really excited to be joining Callum in Chicago as he goes after the world title against this competent Russian boxer.

“Despite seeing Callum in the ring several times before, I am always amazed at the passion and skill he shows.

“On behalf of everyone at Moore Thompson I would like to wish him the very best of luck in his upcoming fight.”

Moore Thompson is proud of its long history supporting sporting professionals, whether via sponsorship or through its own dedicated accountancy services tailored to the requirements of sportsmen and sportswomen.
