Events announced in Spalding, Holbeach, Donington and Long Sutton
A Great British Bake-off winner will be returning to the area to judge a popular cake competition.
Matty Edgell, who won the programme in 2023, and South Holland District Council chairman, Coun Andrew Woolf, will have the difficult job of judging the cake competition at the Spring into Spalding event, which is taking place on March 29.
This is one of a series of events which have been organised by the council’s communities team who are hoping to bring the community together and provide memorable experiences.
Coun Gary Taylor, Portfolio Holder for Community Development for South Holland District Council, said: "I am delighted to see all the amazing upcoming events that are happening within our district for the upcoming year!
"I highly encourage everyone to make the most of these opportunities to have a fun family day out in our local towns supporting our local businesses and engaging in community spirit."

- Easter Bunny Trail in Crowland and Holbeach, from April 5 to 19
- Wellbeing in the wilderness, Ayscoughfee Gardens, May 14
- Tennis activities for all, Ayscoughfee Gardens, June 30 - July 13
- Love Parks Week, Cowbit, July 28
- Love Parks Week, Deeping St Nicholas, July 29
- Love Parks Week, Sutton Bridge, July 30
- Love Parks Week, Pinchbeck, July 31
- Give it a go, Holbeach, August 10
- Pumpkin Festival, Spalding Town Centre, October 4
- Scarecrow Trail, Spalding Town Centre, October 24- November 2
- Christmas Light Switch On, Spalding Town Centre, November 28
- Christmas Town Trails, Donington and Long Sutton, throughout December.
