Full of Beans in Bourne café owner has raised money through platform LinkedIn

An entrepreneur has raised £75,000 through LinkedIn.

Khadija Khalifa from Bourne used the business-focused social media platform to raise funds for a franchise of her café.

Full Of Beans in Elsea Park, Bourne has been open for about 18 months.

Funds for her first café came from investors, two of which have come back to invest in the franchise, raising the total to £105,000.

“I am super excited for the new café,” she said.

“People were offering me more money than I needed and it shows I have proven myself.”

Khadija shared posts on LinkedIn saying she was looking for investors.

The new café will open in Drake Avenue, in the new estate of Hempstead, Peterborough, in July.

“I’m really excited,” said Khadija. “Bourne’s café runs really well without me.”
