Crowland resident Rodney Sadd launches petition to call on Stagecoach to fully reinstate 37 bus service
A campaign has been launched against changes to a bus service.
Rodney Sadd has started a petition to call on Stagecoch to fully reinstate its 37 bus service, which runs between Spalding, Crowland and Peterborough, ahead of new changes.
The timetable will be reduced from an hourly service to two hourly starting at the end of the month.
Concerns were raised about the service cuts at the last Spalding Town Forum meeting when members agreed to write to the bus company to highlight their fears.
Mr Sadd, who lives in Crowland, feels that stronger action is needed and has started a Keep the 37 Bus service petition on the Change, org website.
He said: “I would like to back track and continue with the hourly service.
“There are a lot of people who use the service.
“It is a really important service for the wider community.
“I would like Stagecoach to rethink as I understand that they have funding to last six months to protect the service.
