Popular area Spalding car boot sale will restart on Monday
A popular car boot sale will be returning next week.
The Fun Farm, in Weston, has announced that its popular car boot sales will resume on Monday, June 1, with new safety measures in place.
A social media post states: "Further to Government guidance, we are pleased to announce we will be reopening on Monday June 1.
"To enable us to operate as safely as possible we have made some important changes."
A one-way system with dedicated entrances and exits have been created and the people are asked to remain 2m apart when queuing to get in. They are also asked to have the 30p entrance fee in the correct change.
People who are displaying coronavirus symptoms are asked not to attend while sellers will be able to pay for their pitches via card payments.
The post states: "Sellers will be parked with further spacing between sellers to enable social distancing. Please take notice of the staff members parking you on the field.
"Under no circumstances should buyers approach within 2 metres of sellers vehicles.
"In the interests of cross contamination we ask buyers to not touch the items for sale. If closer examination is needed please ask the seller to show the item to you prior to purchase.
"Our toilets will be available for use with strict social distancing measures to ensure everyone's safety. We will have supervised queue and one way system to maintain social distancing.
"We recommend that all visitors to our site takes advantage of our various hand sanitation points and ensure you wash your hands on a regular basis.
"We will be keeping in close contact with our local authority, South Holland District Council for any further guidance.
