Lincolnshire Care Awards honours care workers in ceremony at DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln
Care workers have been honoured at an awards ceremony.
The Lincolnshire Care Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the people who look after the county’s most vulnerable residents.
Winners and those highly commended were announced across 13 categories along with a LinCA Chair’s Special Recognition Award at the event in the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln.
Melanie Weatherley MBE, Chair of LinCA, said: “Our heartfelt congratulations go out to all our winners and highly commended, and to everyone who was nominated for an award.
“The Lincolnshire Care Awards are the highlight of our calendar because they give us a chance to celebrate the amazing individuals who work in our care sector in Lincolnshire.
“Of course, we could not do it without the help and support of our generous sponsors and our hard-working event organisers, so I want to thank them too.”
Two of the winners Joanne Allgood and Adeyinka Awoseye both work for Libertas Care Services in Spalding.
Joanne won the Community Care award while her colleague Adeyinka was presented with the Rising Star award.
Nominations were open to the public and shortlisted before a judging panel decided the winners and highly commended for each category.
