New Spalding car park owners promise to turn Drapers Place into an asset rather than an eyesore
The owners of a town centre car park are promising to resolve the anti-social behaviour and offer cheap charges.
Lincolnshire Trading and Management will soon be submitting a planning application for improvements to Drapers Place car park in Spalding, which runs behind The Crescent.
Director James de Savary is looking to lay new surfacing in the car park, which is next to PE11, along with introducing lighting and CCTV.

All-day parking charges at the site will be around £2.50 and £1 for two hours.
Mr de Savary said: "We invest in car parks around the county and try to improve them.
"We plan to put in a planning application to try to turn the site into an asset for the town rather than an eyesore.
"We have car parks all over Lincolnshire. I really like the county as I think it is a vibrant place."
Work has already started to improve the car park, which is separated by a wall to the South Holland District Council-owned Gore Lane site.
Mr de Savary is hoping to create 60 car parking spaces on the site.
Pot holes are being filled in along with a parking machine installed.
The area has seen some anti-social behaviour with broken glass and other litter covering the sandy surface.
Me de Savary said: "We actively manage our car parks with parking patrols, CCTV and lighting.
"To be honest, that pretty much shifts the anti-social behaviour.
"We are also looking to remove the garages, which are unattractive and create a dark area."
The district council has recently increased the car parking charges on its sites to £3 a day and the season ticket to £460.
