University Academy Holbeach pupils hold Children In Need drumathon
Holbeach pupils took part in their very own Children In Need drumathon as part of a series of events for the charity cause.
Following in the footsteps of BBC One weatherman Owain Wyn Evans, students from University Academy Holbeach entertained fellow pupils as they ate their lunch.
Filip Galkowski was the standout performer on the drums on the day.
The school also held a sell out two day cake sale, organised by sixth form prefects.
Forms were also invited to take part in a Children in Need-themed, pupils learned about the history and work of the charity.
Library staff also organised a number of activities and competitions, which ran all week, with a “design a Pudsey mask” competition, “guess the number of sweets in the jar” contest and filling a Pudsey picture with coins event.
On Friday the whole school was invited to attend in non-uniform.
In total, the academy has already raised more than £1400 with more donations still coming in.
