Gosberton Risegate Christmas Fair continues to get ‘bigger and bigger’

A village Christmas Fair continues to get ‘bigger and bigger’.

The third annual event held at Gosberton Risegate's Marjorum Hall saw the public flock to check out the quirky festive gifts on offer.

“It was very busy and a really good event, we were quite chuffed,” said the hall’s social secretary Lesley Jacobs.

“It’s only the third fair we’ve done and it went really well.

“Each time it’s getting bigger and bigger, which is really good.”

Candles, crochet, knitting, jewellery and resin products were among the wide range of goods on sale.

The fair was held to raise funds for renovation works to the hall, which committee members are hoping to extend.

This Saturday will see the annual Christmas Party held, with headline act Someone Like Adele.

Tickets cost £15 and include with food (roast pork loin baps and chilli/cheese/beans jackets). They are available by calling Lesley on 07886 204215 or Yvonne on 07903 813301.
