Spalding's Broad Street Methodist Church holds service to celebrate of pandemic key workers

A special church service paid tribute to the efforts of pandemic key workers.

Broad Street Methodist Church in Spalding hosted the event, with The Rev Luke Smith delighted to welcome along a selection of workers who epitomised that hard work.

They included Claire Moore, senior deputy head at The Garth School, Steve Weatherly-Barton of the Johnson Community Hospital, Zeph Churchill - lead nurse at Beechfield Medical Centre - and Sarah Ekins, part of the digital team at the Broad Street Church.

Mr Smith said: “People have been talking about it afterwards, saying what a wonderful thing it was just to show a bit more appreciation.
