Spalding Indoor Bowls Club 'bowled' over by taster day attendance




More than 60 people got to grips with a new hobby at the weekend.

Spalding Indoor Bowls Club was delighted to see so many people attending its annual taster days at the Castle Sports Complex.

Those in search of a new activity to enjoy got involved with fun sessions on Saturday and Sunday.

Publicity officer Martin Spencer said: “The days were really good and it was one of the best turnouts we’ve ever had. We had people of all ages and families getting involved.

“Representatives, including coaches, were on hand to talk people through the game, let them have a go and enjoy some fun exercises.

“Some of the people who came along have already converted into members which is great.
