Holbeach charity Waddles Rescue raised £269 at coffee morning

Waddles Rescue hosted a successful coffee morning at the weekend.

The animal rescue organisation, based in Holbeach, raised £269.

In preparation for the approaching baby bird season, Waddles Rescue plans to use this money for supplies.

Some of these include food and bedding for the birds.

Organiser Cheryl Potts said: “ The event went very well, around 30 people attended.”

She added: “ We had comments from people being thankful for the work we do.”

The event also included a raffle, tombola, refreshments and games and took place in the Reading Rooms.
