A panel dealing with complaints about the behaviour of elected individuals and bodies in South Holland have seen a year-on-year surge in cases.
The number of complaints made to a standards panel based at South Holland District Council soared from just five in 2018-19 to 23 in 2019-20.
During a meeting of the council's Standards Panel on Wednesday, it was confirmed that 19 of the 23 complaints during the past year were related to the same matter.
