Plans to turn a Spalding property into a house of multiple occupation have been refused.
Mr D Bowden, of Station House in Helpringham, had applied to alter number 5, Stonegate.
However, South Holland District Council refused the application because the property is believed to be of ‘an inadequate size’ to accommodate nine people.
There were also worries over the wellbeing of occupants, outside gatherings impacting on neighbours, and the potential parking problems for nine people.
