Spalding area Conservatives have new headquarters




South Holland and The Deepings Conservative Association has moved its Spalding office to 24-25 Westlode Street in town, with MP Sir John Hayes performing the ribbon cutting.

The new premises is multi-functional and more up to the needs of the party, as Paul Redgate, district councillor for Whaplode and Holbeach St Johns and Association chair, explained.

He said: "The old premises is currently going through planning permission to be redeveloped so we had to move. It gives us more of a professional atmosphere in terms of the Association and the constituents of Sir John Hayes."

Mr Redgate revealed the preparation process for the move took six months including negotiations and converting the new premises.
