Pinchbeck councillor loses seat after not attending for six months

A councillor who did not attend a meeting for six months has lost his seat.

Dean Roizer is no longer a member of Pinchbeck Parish Council after falling foul of attendance rules.

The Local Government Act 1972 sets out that councillors who do not attend a meeting for six consecutive months without prior approval will cease to be a member of an authority.
