Eyewitness reports crash on the A16 at Crowland

Several vehicles are said to have been involved in a crash on the A16 this evening (December 23).

An eyewitness suggested that four cars may have been involved in an incident within the last half hour at the B1166 staggered junction at Crowland where Hull’s Drove and James Road meet the busy road.

The road is not currently closed — but witnesses suggest that there is a large amount of debris in the carriageway.

Traffic is said to be moving slowly in the area as a result.

The circumstances of the crash — and the condition of those involved — is not yet known.
