Cyclist in 'serious condition' following collision with car in Spalding

A cyclist has been taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' following a collision with a motor vehicle.

The incident occurred along Albion Street in Spalding this morning (January 12).

"We are dealing with a serious collision on Albion Street in Spalding," Lincolnshire Police said.

"The collision involved a car and cyclist.

"The male cyclist has suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital.

"This was reported at 6.03am. A road closure is in place. Please avoid the area."
