Cyclist sustained injuries in collision with car in Church Street, Pinchbeck

A cyclist and a car were involved in a collision that forced the closure of a busy road last night.

Police say the incident, on Church Street in Pinchbeck, was reported to them at 6.05pm.

It occurred between the mini roundabout near the church and Knight Street and left the route closed to traffic.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “The road was closed just before 6.30pm to allow for emergency services to deal with the collision.

“The cyclist sustained injuries but they are not believed to be life-threatening.”
