Cyclist taken to hospital after collision on A151 between Bourne and Spalding

A cyclist was taken to hospital after being hit by a 4x4.

The man ended up in a ditch after being hit by a black Toyota Hilux on Spalding Road, Bourne, at 7.23am today (Monday, April 15).

Emergency services were called to the scene and police say they are investigating the incident.

A spokesman said: “The cyclist was knocked off his bike by a black Toyota Hilux and had fallen into a ditch.

“He sustained injuries but they are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening and was taken to hospital. Inquiries are ongoing.”
