Swineshead darts ace Scott Williams taunts world champions Luke Littler and Luke Humphries after Pinchbeck League 180s success

Scott Williams has thrown down a cheeky challenge to world darts champions Luke Littler and Luke Humphries.

Just hours after the two Lukes met in the final of Thursday’s PDC Premier League Night in Sheffield, the Swineshead oche ace was collecting his medal for the most 180s thrown in this year’s Pinchbeck League.

And he couldn’t help but make a light-hearted jibe at two of the sport’s biggest names.

“You might have won World Championships… but have you hit the most 180s in the Pinchbeck League?” he wrote on an Instagram post on Saturday (May 24), tagging the reigning and previous PDC World Champs in a photo of him with his latest gong.

Williams - who plays for the Green Dragon pub in his home village - reached the semi-finals of the 2024 competition at Alexandra Palace before being defeated by Humphries, who went on to claim the title by defeating Littler in the final.

But this belonged to teenage sensation Littler, who claimed his first world championship in January.

However, neither has yet thrown a 180 in the Pinchbeck League.

Williams, 35, will be aiming to return to the Alexandra Palace stage later this year, but now the gauntlet has been thrown down will Littler or Humphries try to take on his 180 record?
