Deadline nears for Deepings and Bourne areas community fund

Voluntary groups in the Deepings and Bourne with ideas for a community project or event have until Friday to apply for a grant of up to £10,000.

There are just four days left before the next deadline to be considered for the South Kesteven Community Fund.

Groups can get help to meet one-off costs of between £200 and £5,000 for community events, or between £500 and £10,000 for community projects in Bourne and the Deepings.

Examples of potentially successful projects could include repairs to a village building, a new community festival, improvements to a play area or start-up costs for a scheme that will generate an ongoing revenue stream for your neighbourhood, such as a community owned cafe.

Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (LCVS) is offering help and guidance to groups wishing to apply for a grant.
