Tributes paid to ‘dedicated’ partner and doctor of Beechfield Medical Centre, Spalding
Tributes have been paid to a well-known doctor who ‘touched the lives of many patients and colleagues’.
Following a short period of illness, Dr Janarthanam Babu, a partner and doctor at Beechfield Medical Centre in Spalding, died on Tuesday, May 13 aged 60.
The news was shared on the clinic’s Facebook page and patients and staff members have been asked to share their memories in an online condolence book.
In the social media post Beechfield Medical Centre described Dr Babu as a ‘dear colleague and partner’ of the practice.
The post said: “It is with great sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that our dear colleague and partner, Dr Babu, passed away this week after a short period of illness.Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family during this incredibly difficult time.
“Dr Babu was not only a valued member of our team but also a compassionate and dedicated doctor who touched the lives of many patients and colleagues alike throughout his career.
“His loss is felt deeply across our practice and the wider community, so we ask for your patience and understanding during this time as some services may be affected.”
