Pinchbeck distribution centre takeover could create 60 jobs

Up to 60 jobs could be created after a business moved into a vacant distribution centre.

Dunster House - which specialises in the design, manufacture, and supply of garden buildings and outdoor structures - have got the keys to the former Kartsen UK site on Enterprise Way in Pinchbeck.

“This centre is intended to manage the inflow of finished products, wood and materials from Europe which means creating new jobs in the area with work for warehouse and delivery staff as well as improving service for the local area,” a statement by the Bedford-based firm said.

“It is also envisaged to be a manufacturing site as well as its primary function as a central distribution hub to fill their branches.”

Dunster House’ss design concepts are created, prototyped and tested in the UK, and they now have 14 production and distribution facilities across the country, including a production facility in Gosberton.

“We are always trying to improve our service and this new site will help us dramatically improve our stock holding and our delivery times for the local area,” company founder Christopher Murphy said,

“We’re excited to see how Spalding can help our business grow even more.”

Dunster House confirmed the new site would create between ‘50 and 60’ jobs.
