Duo charged with thefts in Spalding, Holbeach and Pinchbeck




Two people have been charged with a string of theft offences across our area.

Sarah McCourt (41) is facing ten counts of theft, while Anthony Taylor (29) is charged with ten thefts and an assault.

The pair, both of no fixed abode, are accused of jointly carrying out thefts across Spalding, Holbeach and Pinchbeck – with the goods worth more than £500 in total.

Taylor is also charged with failing to comply with a community protection notice on three occasions.

Both were remanded in custody to attend Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today.

The thefts they are accused of are:

*Two bottles of vodka and two bottles of Bacardi, worth £79, from Morrisons in Pinchbeck on July 27

*Bold washing tablets worth £27.96 from QD in Holbeach on March 22

*Two packets of Felix cat food worth £9.78 from B&M in Spalding on June 21

*Meat worth £20 from Aldi in Spalding on July 16

*Meat worth £30 from Aldi in Spalding on July 17

*Two Nike T shirts, worth £25, from Original Factory Shop in Spalding on July 17 and Slazenger T shirts worth £70 on July 25

*A push bike of value unknown in Spalding on July 21

*A total of 31 Ferrero Rocher worth £61.30 from Iceland in Spalding on July 21

*Washing pods worth £12.99 from Savers in Spalding on July 23

*Fresh steak worth £200 from Lidl in Spalding on June 21
