EDUCATION AWARDS 2018: Magical evening for Spalding St Paul's nursery team
A nursery team making early years education "magical every day" for children in Spalding are feeling magic themselves.
Toby Gough, Phoebe Jeffries, Hilary Rodgers, Lynette Taylor and Louise Whitwell, the nursery team at St Paul's Community Primary School, Spalding, took the Pre-School Staff Award back to show the children in their care.
Duncan Ingram, of award sponsors Bakkavor Group, presented finalists' certificates to staff from Ladybirds Pre-School, West Pinchbeck, and Little Treaures Nursery, Holbeach.
Kira Nicholls, head teacher at St Paul's Community Primary School and Nursery, said: "We are so proud of the nursery team and all that they have achieved this year for the school.
"We are bursting with pride and feel that the award was very well-deserved.
"However, we would also like to say a huge congratulations to all of the finalists in the Pre-School Staff Award category on an evening that was specially for schools and pre-schools from across South Holland, as well as the Deepings, Bourne and Kirton too."
The judges said: "The nursery staff at St Paul's are making their setting one that is magical every day for the children in their care."
